As we get ready to celebrate the holidays with our friends, families and loved ones, workers at Wings Enterprises will be entering their second month on strike.

This fall, amid the current economic crisis, the strikers walked off the jobsite in a brave move to fight against low pay, an abusive work environment, lack of drinking water and health insurance. "I believe in the eyes of God we are all equal, and these types of injustices do not please God," said Cristian, one of the striking workers. "We need your support."

Tell Wings to sit down with the striking workers and bring this strike to a resolution http://www.unionvoice.org/campaign/Support_Striking_Workers_in_the_District .

Wings is one of the largest rebar subcontractors in the DC-Metro area and has worked on numerous government-funded projects in partnership with well known contractors such as Clark Construction Group and Miller and Long.
