Since February 2009, workers at the Sheraton Crystal City have been campaigning for justice and demanding a fair and democratic process to decide on unionization without management intimidation. After a year of struggle including intimidation, supply shortages, protests, and the firing of a union supporter, the owner, HEI, has still not accepted the demand for a fair, democratic process. Workers have now taken the dramatic step of calling for a boycott of their own hotel. | ||
