They will address general concerns ranging from affordable housing\, immigration\, and economic development to education\, social service programs\, and civil and voting rights.</p>

SW\, Washington D.C. to protest Southland Concrete&#39\;s unsafe practices\, unfair layoffs and poor working conditions\, and to demand respect\, dignity\, and the right to a voice on the job at Southland Concrete.  Elected officials from the D.C. government will respond to workers&#39\; calls to commit to pursuing a full investigation of allegations of workplace abuse.</p>
