Right now he is pushing for H.R. 3803\, a bill that would ban almost all abortions in Washington\, DC after 20 weeks of pregnancy. He is holding a hearing on the bill Thursday\, May 17th.</p>
 <p>If &quot\;Mayor&quot\; Franks is so eager to interfere in our community\, let’s drop by his office to tell him what really needs fixing.</p>
 <p>Come out to &quot\;Mayor&quot\; Franks&#39\; DC Constituent Services Day at 12 noon on Wednesday\, May 23. So far\, we are planning to let him know about\:</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p>We will be holding a huge\, festive\, parade through DC to showcase the changes Walmart needs to make if they want to come into our city. We will have convertibles\, floats\, stilt walkers\, face painters\, clowns\, motorcycles\, bikes and more. We will be marching from the proposed Walmart at 801 New Jersey Ave NW to their DC offices at 8th and G NW\, where we will have a street party. We need volunteers to help make props\, turn people out\, marshal\, and more. You aren&#39\;t going to want to miss this.  <p>We have an exciting year of growth ahead.
