You are cordially invited to attend the kick-off of the ROC-DC GRUB Sessions, a series of how-to-do workshops on food and drinks. The Restaurant Opportunities Center of Washington, DC (ROC-DC), is a multiracial worker-led center for restaurant workers - fighting to improve standards in the restaurant industry.
Our own ROC-DC members, as experts in the hospitality & restaurant industry, are offering these workshops to show you how to add some new tricks to your culinary arsenal!
For ROC-DC GRUB Session 1- come and learn how to make bright innovative cucumber mixed drinks for the spring season, light and delicious Vietnamese fresh spring rolls, and a variety of tasty dipping sauces!
Chefs and mixologists will be giving on-going instruction from 6 - 9 PM - come check out the ROC-DC office, meet new people, enjoy great food and drinks, and listen to some good music.
