Etc/GMT
Location:
Washington, DC JCC: 1529 16th Street NW

Honor Sukkot this year by focusing on the holiday's connection to themes of social justice.

Join Rabbi Erica Asch (Washington Interfaith Network and Action In Mongomery); Pedro Cruz, an organizer with DC Jobs with Justice; and our own Jacob Feinspan, Executive Director of JUFJ, to reflect on connections between sukkot and immigrants workers' rights.

We will explore how we can think Jewishly and act locally right here in DC and we will discuss volunteer opportunties with the JUFJ campaign to establish a day laborer's worker center.

Presented in partnership with the 16th Street J's Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service

The fee for this workshop is $18, but mention JUFJ and get in for $12!
