NOTE that this event:
- Does NOT include a potluck; and
- Will NOT be held at Church of the Pilgrims.

Summary:
Selichot services are late-night penitential poems and prayers designed to get us into the spirit and heart/mind-space of the season of repentance leading up to the High Holidays. (More about the history and content of Selichot here.) In some traditions, which TLS is following, Selichot begins on the Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah, close to midnight.
