Over 50 people gathered on 12/5 for a teach-in on restaurant labor practices, helping us take our first step towards launching our upcoming Paid Sick Leave Campaign.

A diverse group of volunteers from JUFJ, ROC-DC, and the Employment Justice Center got to know each other over homemade tamales, while local workers shared their stories about working through foot injuries, pink eye, and blinding jaw pain just to make ends meet.
