JUFJ runs and participates in local campaigns for racial, economic, and social justice in DC, Baltimore, Montgomery County, and throughout Maryland. Click on any campaign below to learn about what we’re doing on that issue and how you can help!

TRUST ACT

Immigrants in MoCo are in trouble. Despite Montgomery County’s pride in being a diverse and welcoming place, officials have often failed to protect and support immigrant families. We need to pass the Trust Act to keep ICE out of local law enforcement.

PAID FAMILY LEAVE

No one should be forced to make impossible choices between caring for the people we love and earning the money we need. With a paid family and medical leave program in DC we can improve workplace standards and ensure that families have the financial stability they need when life happens!

DC

CRIMINAL INJUSTICE REFORM

Those who wield power in our communities must be held to a high standard of fairness and integrity. When citizens trust law enforcement, public safety increases for everyone.

Baltimore

RENTERS’ RIGHTS

Baltimore’s Rent Court isn’t helping renters. It’s helping landlords throw renters out on the street. That’s unacceptable.

Baltimore

WATER IS A HUMAN RIGHT

Baltimore’s water costs are unbelievable, and on July 1 they are increasing by 9%. Nobody should have to live without water, or should lose their home because they can’t afford water. Tell the Baltimore City Council that all Baltimoreans deserve safe, affordable water.
