Islam and Judaism 101:
How do we build bridges?  How can we learn about each others' faiths?

In this second installment of our well-received “Islam & Judaism 101” Series, JAM DC will host a panel discussion examining selected stories from Jewish and Muslim scriptures.  Many parables – such as Abraham, Moses and the Exodus, David and Solomon, Jacob and the 12 Tribes – are found in both religious traditions and hold valuable lessons for those who reflect on them.  Join us for an enlightening evening that will bring forth the commonalities and differences between the two traditions’ narration of a few of these stories by our esteemed guests:

Rabbi Aaron Miller of the Washington Hebrew Congregation (bio here) and
Imam Mohamed Magid of the Islamic Society of North America (bio here).
