KATHY KRIEGER

    Kathy Krieger, a Washington, DC resident and member of the law firm James & Hoffman, has practiced labor and employment law for more than 40 years, representing unions, employees, public policy and advocacy organizations, community coalitions and other nonprofits in a variety of matters. From the outset, a major focus of her practice has been litigation and legal strategy in support of collective organizing, workers’ rights and social justice campaigns. Over the years she has served on governing boards and councils for nonprofit organizations and public bodies, including Farmworker Justice, the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee and the NLRB Advisory Committee, and has provided education and training for labor leaders and worker activists, area public school reading and literacy programs, and the legal community. Ms. Krieger has been a longtime member of Adas Israel and a volunteer in congregational committees and programs.
