Advocating for Maryland’s Innocent: A Virtual Town Hall

Join our partners at the Innocence Project for a discussion on COVID-19’s impact on the wrongfully convicted in Maryland and how to fix exoneree compensation. The panel will include: Exonerees Walter Lomax, who spent 39 years in prison and Demetrius Smith who spent four years in prison for crimes they did not commit; Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project Executive Director Shawn Armbrust; University of Baltimore Innocence Project Clinic Director Michele Nethercott; and Innocence Project State Campaign Director Michelle Feldman.
