Solitary Confinement: Inhumane and Disgraceful Treatment in Maryland’s Prisons

The excessive use of solitary confinement in our state causes lasting damage and destroys lives. It is a form of inhumane treatment that has no place in a civilized community. During the Maryland General Assembly session, some of our allies tried to do something about this, but they were undermined by politically powerful forces.

Join us to learn from Toni Holness of Maryland ACLU, Interfaith Action for Human Rights, Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Baltimore Jewish Cultural Chavurah, Beth Am Synagogue, Bolton Street Synagogue, Chevrei Tzedek, Chizuk Amuno, and Kol HaLev for an evening of learning to strengthen our action on this important issue.
