While we’ve made significant progress towards passing a strong paid family and medical leave bill this year, the legislative session is coming to a close and there are still critical votes that need to happen! The Time to Care Act (SB275) is in the House and we are expecting votes in the Economic Matters Committee and on the House floor the week of March 21st. This is a critical moment for us to demonstrate the statewide support for this legislation and continue raising our voices in support of strong bill.
Join JUFJ & our Time to Care coalition partners in Annapolis on March 29th, 30th, and/or 31st from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM as we greet delegates in front of the State House and urge them to take action on this critical legislation. You can join us for any or all of the days that we will be in Annapolis in support of the Time to Care Act.
