Purim is a joyful Jewish holiday that commemorates the story of Queen Esther, who used her power to help her community during challenging times. Every year on (or near) Purim, JUFJ activists deliver mishloach manot, sweet gifts to our Maryland state legislators, along with a reminder of what our legislative priorities are for this year's General Assembly session. But we can't make this sweet delivery without your help.
Join us for our next Maryland Community Meeting where we'll discuss campaign updates and how we can best move our work forward. Join at 7:30 PM for a JUFJ 101 if you're newer to JUFJ, or for a schmooze session if you're a returning JUFJer. The full meeting will begin at 8:00 PM. All are welcome!
Come text bank with us as we recruit our community to take final action on our key priorities and join our big celebration for Sine Die (the end of the legislative session)!

Jewish sacred texts compel us to ensure that those of us who were not born in our community are as safe, and as healthy, as those of us who were. Join us in Annapolis or tune in virtually to the Senate Finance Committee hearing for SB365, which would expand Affordable Care Act eligibility to all Marylanders, regardless of their immigration status!
We are just about halfway through the legislative session! Join us for updates and to take action together.
