Find out more »The DC Council has scheduled a hearing to receive public input on Initiative 77 and paying the District's tipped workers the same minimum wage as everyone else. This initiative was passed by 54% of primary voters but now the Council is seeking to overturn the will of the voters.

This month we will be preparing for our upcoming house meetings with our state legislators. Get ready for intimate, in-person conversations with your state legislators by practicing with us at Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation. Experience a mock house meeting setting, and get trained in advocacy skills so that you are ready to represent progressive Jewish values this year.

More than 600,000 Maryland workers work full-time but don’t earn enough to make ends meet. A $15 minimum wage means a better Maryland for all of us.
