Maryland Statewide & County 2022 Election Resources

Local elections, especially the primaries, have far-reaching consequences.

Our State and County leaders decide how we spend our money, how we protect our community’s most vulnerable members, and whether our region’s actions will dismantle systemic oppression or reinforce the status quo.

Every vote matters. In Montgomery County, the current County Executive won in the primary by 77 votes. In Howard County, Councilmember Liz Walsh won by 6 votes! In Howard, Prince George’s, and Montgomery Counties in 2018, almost every County candidate who won the Democratic primary also won the general election, which makes voting in the primary even more important.

We’re here to help you sort through it all. If you have any questions about the resources on this page, email Devorah.
