Emily is originally from New Jersey and is excited to be joining the JUFJ team in DC as a 2022 Avodah Corps member. She graduated from American University in Washington, DC, where she studied Justice & Law, concentrating on the intersection of law and social justice. She is passionate about grassroots activism and organizing. Emily is especially passionate about environmental justice.

In her free time, you can find Emily obsessing over her dog Sherman and the general dog population, spending most of her time outdoors, and going to concerts!
