Born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, Joseph first learned about JUFJ’s work through its successful “Fight For $15” campaign in the County. In the Summer of 2021, Joseph joined JUFJ, interning as a program assistant. While attending Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, Joseph organized students and the local Carlisle community as part of his activities in Dickinson Dems, Dickinson Students for Bernie, and Carlisle Sunrise while also campaigning for local progressive candidates. Having since graduated with B.A.s in Political Science and Middle East Studies, Joseph is now honored and thrilled to be working with JUFJ again as a Maryland Community Organizer as part of his year of service in the Avodah Jewish Service Corps.
