MIA GRAHAMMARYLAND COMMUNITY ORGANIZER AND AVODAH CORPS MEMBER

    Mia joined JUFJ in the fall of 2024 as an Avodah Corps Member. She recently graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a degree in Anthropology and minors in Religion and Psychology. At Whitman, Mia served as co-president of the Jewish student organization and was deeply engaged in social justice initiatives. Her experience includes working at the local Planned Parenthood chapter and volunteering with the Walla Walla County Democrats. She is excited to continue doing social justice work informed by Jewish values at JUFJ as a Maryland community organizer.

    Originally from Oakland, California, Mia enjoys hiking, contra dancing, and rom coms. Mia also loves her Jewish summer camp and thinks all of life should be as joyful and community-focused as camp.
