Rianna joined JUFJ as a part time Baltimore Community Organizer in 2022 to help fill in for other staff members while they are out on sabbatical and family leave (yay, time off!). She came to know – and love – JUFJ through her role as the convener of the Baltimore Right to Water Coalition.

In addition to working at JUFJ, Rianna runs her own business doing a combination of graphic design for organizing and selling mosaic, print, and ceramic art. Before that, Rianna was an organizer for six years – including as a senior national organizer at Food & Water Watch, focused on their campaigns for water justice as well as a Maryland Organizer with Food & Water Watch, working on legislative campaigns in Baltimore City and Annapolis.

In her free time, Rianna enjoys exploring Baltimore City on meandering walks with her dog, Beluga, and experimenting with all different kinds of art. She attended American University where she majored in Environmental Studies and International Studies

Rianna uses she/her/hers pronouns.
