Join us for a convening about the four County-level referendum questions on your ballot this November.
The event will include a review of what's at stake for Montgomery County this election, video remarks from our County Leaders, and ways you can take action to safeguard our representative democracy, our COVID-19 recovery, and ensure our county works through a lens of equity instead of austerity.
This year's election in Montgomery County is not just about national races or electing officials — voters here need to fight two dangerous County ballot measures. Question B threatens public funding that pays for essential workers like firefighters, nurses, librarians, and bus drivers. Question D diminishes our voice in County government by reducing your Councilmembers from 5 to just 1. Join JUFJ and Councilmember Evan Glass for an inside look at the County ballot questions that we will be voting on in November.
Join JUFJ, Beth Am Synagogue, Chizuk Amuno Social Advocacy Committee, Hinenu and BHC Justice for an educational event to learn how to vote this year, what questions will be on your ballot, and what ballot questions JUFJ is supporting. Both Baltimore City + County residents welcome!
