Do you want:
- to learn more about the local political landscape?
- to gain a deeper understanding of social, racial, and economic justice?
- to be in community with people who care about issues you care about?
- to connect with Jewish history, text, and tradition?
- to be an effective Jewish social justice change-maker?
You should apply for the Jeremiah Fellowship!
JUFJ’s Jeremiah Fellowship, in partnership with Bend the Arc, trains Jewish activists in the tools and strategies of grassroots organizing while exploring our Jewish identities. This year’s program begins in Fall 2018 and runs through June 2019. Jeremiah is open to people of all Jewish backgrounds, with no prior knowledge of Hebrew or Jewish texts required or expected.
Applications are coming soon for DC/Montgomery County Jeremiah. Email me if you are interested and I’ll send you an application!
Jeremiah is an amazing opportunity to learn and take action together across the regions of JUFJ. Please share this invitation with people you know who might be interested in joining us.
If you have questions or want to talk more about which program is right for you, please contact me at 240-813-4776 or laura@jufj.org.
